Memento 04:27
We've been down this road But I'm not recognized Your memory Makes the perfect disguise Every time we meet I'm beguiled by your pain I know this will happen Again and again You want justice You want revenge You wanna feel that you're not broken And since you're willing, how can I resist? After all, you won't know me In fifteen minutes I put the breath in your lungs I make sure you get the job done You think the truth will set you free But I know you're nothing without me The blood rubs off When we shake hands You convince yourself You've gotten the right man Your body's patchwork tapestry Tells you he's the one While I dispose Of the smoking gun I put the breath in your lungs I make sure you get the job done You think the truth will set you free But I know you're nothing without me "It's like waking... it's like you just woke up" "It's like waking... it's like you just woke up" "It's like waking... it's like you just woke up" "I have this... condition" Everything fades And I'm to blame You took the breath from my lungs You made sure to get the job done You think the truth will set you free But I know you're nothing without me But I know you're nothing without me

about

The single "Memento" is inspired by the film of the same name. Its B-side, "First Contact," is a musical representation of the integration of terrestrial and extraterrestrial culture, originally written and recorded as the final project for my MIDI Applications class.
